A Belle Époque castle facing the ocean
Once the property of a Belgian viscount, the Château des Tourelles has been transformed by the Relais Thalasso group into an exceptional hotel. Its five slate turrets and white façade stand proudly at the Pointe du Bec, at the western tip of La Baule bay.
The original building, rated 4 stars, is extended by contemporary wings with green-roofed terraces. The whole is elegantly set in a park with centenary trees, immediately bordering the coastal path and the beach.
Thalasso of 1,500 m²
The thalassotherapy centre features a generous aquatic circuit: heated seawater pool at 32 °C with two swimming lanes of 23 m, 30 underwater jets and 7 bubbling seats, playful pool with variable height featuring waterfalls and 9 massage jets.
In addition, there is a sauna reserved for men, a sauna reserved for women, a mixed hammam, a fitness room, a solarium area and a thalasso lounge with herbal tea service. Treatments, provided in private suites, can be booked as a day package, stopover (2-3 days) or treatment course.
On the dining side, the gourmet restaurant run by a Master Restaurateur chef enhances local products with light cuisine designed to complement the wellness stay.

Antonin's advice
“Even without staying on site, you can enjoy a day of thalasso. My favourite slot: a half-day during the week, with a light lunch on the terrace facing the bay. For a full experience, the 2-night stopover in a Prestige room with ocean view is worth it. Book well in advance, especially during bank holidays.”
