A journey through 4 oceans

The Oceariumfour oceans of the world: Atlantic, Indian, Pacific, and Mediterranean. Eleven themed areas follow one another: Pacific rays, tropical lagoon, Cape penguins, Australian sharks, nursery, touch pool, Atlantic seabed, Canadian Pacific coast…

The highlight: the underwater tunnel where you pass beneath sharks and rays, surrounded by the endless ballet of fish. An experience that leaves a mark on children.

The Ocearium is committed to the reproduction and protection of marine species: in 2020, 30 born-on-site dogfish were released on an Atlantic beach.

From L'Écrin des Nymphes

The Ocearium is located approximately 15 km from the studio, at the end of the peninsula. Allow 20 minutes by car via the D45, or about 25 minutes by TER train (Le Croisic station is 1.5 km from the Ocearium, accessible on foot).

Combine with a walk on the port of Le Croisic (8 minutes on foot) and a seafood lunch facing the port. A perfect family day out.

Antonin's advice

“To make the most of it: buy your tickets online, it avoids the queue in season. Aim for opening time (10:00) or late afternoon to have the pools to yourself. Don't miss the activity times (posted at the entrance): the penguin feeding is well worth the detour. If you visit several times or are travelling with children, the annual pass at 40 € pays for itself from the 3rd visit.”
