A stone house, climbing roses

When you arrive in front of the Crêperie Fleur de Sel, it is first the façade that stands out: a 18th-century stone house, blue shutters, granite frames, and climbing roses that reach up to the first window. The scene is very traditionally Breton.

Inside, the spirit continues: exposed stone walls, low vaults, dried bouquets and coffee bowls placed on the tables. The covered terrace at the back, in winter garden mode with orange and anthracite chairs, complements the main room.

On the menu side, we are on familiar ground: well-filled buckwheat galettes, classics (complete, andouille, seafood) or chef's creations, and a wide choice of sweet crêpes including the signature homemade salted butter caramel.

One of the best crêperies on the peninsula

Rated 4.6 / 5 with over 1,400 reviews, Fleur de Sel is one of the most appreciated crêperies on the Guérande peninsula. The cuisine is homemade, generous, the products are carefully selected, and the service is family-friendly and warm.

On the drink side, Breton cider by the bowl, local beers and some organic ciders in bottles. To finish, ice creams and vanilla scoops complement the flambéed crêpes.

Reservation essential in season, highly recommended all year round · word of mouth builds its reputation.

Weekly closure on Tuesday.

From L'Écrin des Nymphes

Allow approximately 15 minutes by car from La Baule-les-Pins following the coast, or a bit longer by bike through the salt marshes (the bikes from L'Écrin are at your disposal). The crêperie is located in the centre of the village of Batz, just a stone's throw from the church of Saint-Guénolé.

To combine with a climb to the bell tower (exceptional panorama over the salt marshes and the ocean) and a walk on the wild coast.

Antonin's advice

« One of my two favourite crêperies in the area along with Keroman, and probably the cutest in terms of setting. I recommend reserving the day before, even out of season. My combo: andouille de Guémené galette, followed by a salted butter caramel crêpe. If you climb to the church bell tower afterwards, be prepared for digestion · 182 steps. »
